Job Summary

  • To manage the delivery of the cause related marketing campaign across all the fascia’s in direct liaison with Centres of Expertise and Country Activation teams.
  • To partner with key business partners including Marketing, Store Operations, Finance, GS&P HR & Communications across the business to enable them to deliver market leading CR activities across the European trading group.
  • Manage the financial reporting of the CR programme to ensure that programme delivers outstanding value to the business, regular accurate reporting of charity merchandise sales and fundraising To support  influence the internal and external benefits of a CR programme, communications team with engaging and relevant CSR content, supporting its delivery, to ensure associate engagement with programme across the group
  • To support the key external Charity relationships across Europe & trading fascias ensuring KPIS are met.
     

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development of strategic initiatives on a pan European, national and local basis, supporting both company and individual initiatives to support agreed strategic objectives.
  • Manage the strategy for public facing cause related marketing campaigns working closely with the European Project Managers and the in-country Communications manager against agreed objectives.
  • Support the development of the TJX Community fund strategy , including management of queries and information requests from stores and within organisation, reviewing of applications to ensure compliance with fund rules and quarterly reporting of financial activity.
  • Work closely with Store operations business partner to ensure activity calendar aligned and operational impacts of cr activity planned for and communicated to relevant retail teams.
  • Implement the charitable product sales strategy, partnering with buying, merchandising, Finance, distribution and store operations to deliver market leading profitable products to store in timely manner
  • Support Bi monthly Environment & Energy Management Committee meetings
  • Work with internal business partners to help support the reduction of TJX Europe carbon footprint and promote TJX Europe as a responsible retailer.
  • Support the data collection process for European carbon footprint, Carbon Reduction Commitment, A Better Retailing Climate and Carbon Disclosure Project
  • Support reporting communications requirements of US colleagues on global activity.
  • Support research to broaden ethical offer and develop sustainability a key innovation opportunity
  • Support and review consultants reports and ensure project plan and deliverables on are on track and bring to managers attention any issues that require attention
  • Co-ordinate merchandise elements of Ugandan project – communicating with Key Buyer, merchandising, distribution & stores to ensure Ugandan events successful and all communication elements supporting campaign are delivered in timely manner.
  • Support Talent pipeline with appropriate content to support recruitment across Europe
  • Manage CR content calendar and deliver CR timely, updated content to communications teams on a weekly basis to enable them to update all communications vehicles internal and external
  • Work closely with communications and in-country marketing teams to communicate CSR activities to associates and customers
  • Work closely with the communications team members, (centres of expertise and in-country) to communicate regular news and gain maximum exposure for TJX’s work
  • Act as ambassador and key point of contact for CR at TJX Europe internally and externally
  • Keep abreast of current CR developments across Europe, including competitor activity, sharing best practice and making strategic recommendations internally
  • Work with Insights Manager to ensure delivery of annual CR customer and associate benchmarking research.
