Retail Marketing Specialist

 

The Retail Marketing Specialist is responsible for the development and execution of in-store marketing programs for the T.J.Maxx and Marshalls brands. Under the direction of a manager, the Retail Marketing Specialist will coordinate and execute in-store retail marketing programs to support key seasons and business initiatives.

 

Responsibilities:

The Specialist supports Retail Marketing initiatives as follows:

In-store Signage

  • Craft strategic creative project briefs rooted in consumer insight
  • Brief the Creative team on new seasonal project assignments and business initiatives
  • Coordinate with Creative, Project Management, Art Buying and Production teams to ensure on-time, on-budget Retail Marketing programs that enhance the customer experience
  • Evaluate creative development to ensure components appropriately support brand positioning and visual identity
  • Assist with post campaign recaps to identify key learnings, campaign effectiveness and best practices
  • Work closely with Brand Strategy, Store Operations, Store Design, Creative, Project Management, Art Buying and Production teams, amongst others, to build consensus and drive for results
  • Distill project information into clear and concise Powerpoint presentations for senior leadership
  • Develop compelling in-store digital and audio content
  • Effectively manage budget

 

Store Design

  • Partner with Store Design to create dynamic shopping experiences that reflect the brand’s personality

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in advertising, marketing or communications
  • 1-3 years of marketing/advertising agency or in-house experience
  • Strong understanding of retail environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Works well as a team and as an independent contributor
  • Experience collaborating with partners in areas of the business outside of marketing
  • Skilled at organization, attention to detail, writing and multi-tasking
  • Ability to problem solve, work in the grey
  • Thrive on working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
