  • Ensures all network components are operational. Monitors, troubleshoots and cleans all DC computer equipment including printers, terminals, kiosks, RF Unit controllers, IDF cabinets, AS 400, etc.  
  • Maintains the databases for the AS400, Warehouse Management System (WMS), and the Labor Management System.
  • Maintains comprehensive and detailed records of equipment inventory, problems and failures. Coordinates maintenance and repairs via the Service Now, the Help Desk, Mobi Control, and the Wireless Manager portals for IT equipment.
  • Assists PATS/IT Supervisor in making recommendations concerning capital expenditure planning for current and future IT related projects.
  • Provides on-call assistance, after hours support (as needed) via remote login, email, or phone support.
  • Distributes daily reports. Runs onsite monthly weekend backup programs for the current WMS.
  • Provide timely status updates of outstanding tickets and pending equipment issues to the PATS/IT Supervisor

 

Requirements

  • Strong communication, customer service and organizational skills
  • Show good attention to detail and problem solving ability
  • AS400 Experience.
  • Be flexible with changing demands and priorities.
  • Ability to install telecommunication equipment
  • Must be available for overtime and weekends

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems
  • Associates Degree in Computer Information Systems, A+ Certification, and relevant work experience in telecommunications or computer technology
