What you’ll do

The Corporate Solution Delivery organization leads the evolving software and systems at TJX for Finance, Human Resources, Collaboration, and Analytics. We chase the big, strategic initiatives enabling TJX to make faster, smarter decisions every day.

Enterprise Data & Analytics team is the part of Corporate Solution Delivery organization that delivers core data and analytics standards, platforms and solutions for the TJX business globally. We are looking for a motivated, experienced Data Engineer to help us rollout our Self Service Data Engineering offering and provide consulting support to citizen engineers learning to manage their own data.

As a Data Engineer on this team you will be a consultant to the business. You will help them envision and build their analytics and data solutions. As a key member of the Center of Excellence you will help define the strategy, standards and processes for citizen Data Engineering at TJX. This is an exciting, flexible opportunity for a self-starter passionate about people and data.

What you’ll need

Our team is transforming the professional experience for thousands of TJX business associates across the globe, and expects team members to bring passion and out-of-the-box thinking to our mission.

We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills who loves to manipulate data. You should be familiar with the challenges of managing data in an Enterprise environment and have a solid understanding of what is possible in data visualization vs data preparatory vs robust ETL tools.

Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience delivering data and analytics solutions to clients / business partners
• Data modelling, data mapping & transformation, and data analysis experience preferably using Python and/or a self- service data preparatory tool
• Proficient in Power BI
• Solid understanding of data governance

Nice to Have

• Prior consulting experience a plus
• Interest / experience in advanced analytics and data science a plus
