The Sr. Store Communications & Procedures Specialist serves as a business partner on all TJ Maxx & Marshalls store operational process and procedures. She/he serves as a gatekeeper for all communication platforms including Reflexis technology tool.  The Sr.Specialist also maintains, organizes and updates a library of policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:   

  • Collaborates with cross functional business partners to execute communication strategies and approaches for the full range of projects and initiatives
  • Serves as day to day communications contact for multiple stakeholders
  • Reviews and edits submitted communications for consistency and clarity, prior to distribution
  • Develops and/or updates communications procedures and guidelines for over 2,400 stores
  • Leverages established best practices and technology for message delivery and process improvement
  • Ensures that communications are aligned to division business objectives and strategies
  • Develops and maintains collaborative communications technology vehicles, researches emerging technologies
  • Maintains partnerships and cross functional relationships with internal and external partners
  • Fields and responds to inquiries from both internal and external partners
  • Coordinates documentation, scheduling and monitoring of year end physical inventory

 

Skills/Knowledge

  • Cross functional knowledge of retail field operations and home office functions
  • Ability to work with multiple business partners to achieve a common goal
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Business writing and editing skills along with marked attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and flexible environment with changing priorities  
  • Developed project management skills, a self-director who can manage timelines and set priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships and to influence others without authority
  • Experience with Reflexis platform or other Store Operations task solutions strongly preferred

 

Education/Experience

  • 2-4 years of Store Management or Store Operations experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
