We have an exciting leadership opportunity on the global IT Security team at TJX! The VP, Security Services will work alongside our Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to build up the service capability within the IT Security function at TJX. We are excited to have the opportunity to bring on an operator with a deep understanding of the technology transformation occurring in the Cyber Security landscape; a leader capable of helping to build the strategic framework that guides Security governance and risk management decisions across the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Lead a team responsible for understanding the business & technology needs of various verticals throughout TJX, and ensure those needs are met in a secure and compliant way
  • Manage the IT Security Product Portfolio for delivery of the IT Security Strategy, core security services, and Security Consulting
  • Provide a link between various IT security groups and business stakeholder to ensure that IT Security is prepared for the foreseeable demands on the team
  • Assume a key role in developing, implementing, and monitoring strategies to achieve the organization’s long-term goals and objectives.
  • Develop, track, and assess key performance measures across the IT Security Organization. Develop management reports.
  • Support company-wide, board/executive level, and internal / external communication and presentation requests.
  • Overseeing general day-to-day operations of the IT Security Organization.

 

What to Bring

  • A minimum ten years’ experience leading global security governance, risk, and compliance programs
  • Excellent track record of operating as a strategic partner, supporting senior leadership with establishing, communicating, and executing on key strategies to move both organizational culture and business objectives forward.
  • Experience with building / maturing security services and engagement model
  • In depth experience with various project delivery methodologies (e.g. waterfall, agile, scrum)
  • Experience growing and leading a strong, technical product management team
  • Ability to build relationships quickly and collaborate with a team, demonstrating excellent facilitation skills to bring a variety of stakeholders together to solve complex challenges
  • Ability to manage multiple unrelated areas of responsibility simultaneously and under time sensitive deadlines
  • Ability to seek out relevant information broadly across the company and condense and synthesize for use in a variety of ways
  • Strong judgment, problem-solving and decision making skills
  • Must be proactive, assertive and possess strong project management and organizational skills
  • Track and resolve open issues with functional business leads
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders across the business
