  • Under guidance of the District Manager, transitions into monitoring and ensuring quality and consistency of work within a large scope of store management. Provides leadership and direction to store management in accomplishing regional plans and district objectives in sales, profitability, customer service and merchandise presentation. Becomes accustomed to evaluating and monitoring a larger market area by maintaining market awareness and communicating crucial information to the appropriate parties when needed.
  • Maintains consistent merchandise presentation standards for each store. Directs space allocation and usage based on merchandise ownership and individual store attributes. Flexes merchandise presentation and fixture usage where necessary. Reviews visual impact areas to ensure high standards and maximum space utilization. Ensures the consistent execution of all merchandise presentation standards including signing and flow & adjacencies. Maintains market awareness through competitive analysis in the district.
  • Evaluates and communicates to the Regional AVP of Operations and District Manager any issues and opportunities.
  • Collaborates with the District Manager to execute Regional and District sales and profit objectives by maximizing store trends and opportunities. Impacts gross margin by influencing appropriate inventory levels and mix. Raises the awareness and resolution of sales issues through appropriate general and regional office communication.
  • Supports a positive work environment for all associates in the stores assigned.
  • Supervises the administration of all company Human Resource policies and programs. Identifies and resolves associate issues. Coaches and develops store management teams through effective Performance Management and motivation techniques. Ensures successful district and regional succession planning through training and development, as well as recruitment practices.
  • Under supervision of the District Manager, leads the efforts of selected stores in all business practices affecting the customer. Ensures high standards of selection, training, recognition and motivation. Creates an environment where associates are accessible and knowledgeable. Evaluates and implements improvements in all operational areas affecting the customer, such as fitting rooms, checkout, merchandise flow from the stock rooms, recovery practices and overall building maintenance. Executes merchandising presentation standards with consistency to achieve company standards of shopability. Creates an atmosphere of community involvement for the district through presence in the communities. Works with Regional AVP of Operations and District Manager to identify and present merchandise to reflect individual store attributes.
  • Ensures company operational standards are met through clear communication and training. Identifies and solves maintenance issues on a timely basis. Monitors compliance to company policies and procedures and ensures consistency from store to store. Manages and maintains expense plans within budget and identifies opportunities to improve expense performance. Works in partnership with Loss Prevention to improve results. Ensures the successful completion and opening of all new stores, remodels and relocations.
  • Represents the customer on all issues to Regional and Home Office Management. Provides the primary interface between store management
