JOB SUMMARY

As Business Continuity Manager you will be part of our Business Assurance Team in TJX Europe’s Risk function. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of the TJX Europe Business Continuity strategy to ensure global alignment and consistency. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Work with all business areas to develop and maintain a European corporate-wide Business Continuity Plan (BCP) program that addresses business recovery and emergency/Crisis response management;
  • Challenge and support business leads on dentification of critical functions and needs Provide visibility and reporting to the business on the critical components and readiness of the business plans and supporting processes and infrastructure.
  • Design and outline BCP goals, objectives and scope for business plans and Crisis Management
  • Support the Risk Leadership team in aligning all BCP planning, initiatives and goals with organisational goals and capabilities
  • Develop and execute maintenance and testing programs for all BC plans
  • Design and implement tests and exercises of the BC plans and crisis management process, supporting the major incident management team with critical components of the plan

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive experience managing business continuity within a large multi-site organisation, with an ability to lead a European team to be effective and credible business partners;
  • In-depth knowledge of Business Continuity Systems and Processes (including work area recovery testing and BCP desktop testing) to implement and drive continuous improvement throughout the business,
  • Experience of managing multiple work streams, stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Continuity Planning Certification will be highly beneficial as would a recognised Health and Safety qualification (to appropriate standard for the role)
