  • Working closely with the Country Marketing teams to create and deliver impactful and measurable pan-European media strategies and plans that drive footfall through insightful and market-relevant analysis.


  • Again, you’ll work closely (and often lead) the Country Marketing teams to create and deliver impactful and measurable pan-European digital strategies and campaigns that drive traffic, footfall and brand awareness.


  • Accountable for the pan-European Media & Digital budget (c£15m) – and responsible for maximising the efficiency and leveraging pan-European expertise, best-practice and strategy.


  • Partner with Country marketing teams and European Marketing Director to manage our Media Planning and Buying agency network – currently GroupM agencies, part of WPP.


  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of our pan-European Media Auditor.


Furthermore, working closely with our Media Auditor and Global Sourcing & Procurement team to manage our media related commercial contracts, performance kpi’s, reviews, rebates, training and reporting.


  • Drive country efficiency and financial diligence of all media teams and excellence in budget management.


  • Work closely with our creative, public relations and social media agency partners and internal centres of expertise (COE) to develop innovative marketing & brand plans across multiple in-country marketing disciplines.


  • Partner with cross-functional management teams across the business to ensure that our media plans are relevant, engaging, influencing and support all relevant activities and goals – major focus on supporting key seasonal product trading periods and new store openings (c30 per year).



  • Operate across multiple marketing disciplines contributing to the pan-European marketing plans, namely digital, eCommerce, direct, seo, sem, ppc, display, partnerships, csr, social media, public relations, internal communications, events, content and creative to give guidance on building robust and measurable marketing plans.


  • When and where necessary, support the ecommerce and digital marketers (non- ecommerce businesses) in order to ensure that the brand vision is delivered and marketing metrics are achieved.  This role may evolve and include pure Digital planning and management.


  • Provide media guidance, media direction and media leadership to the country marketing group of functional specialists that deliver against a central vision.


  • Manage the evaluation of all media campaigns and report findings to the European Marketing Director and Senior Marketing Leadership Team on monthly basis.
