Job Description


We are looking for Senior Operations Manager to join our team and enable the fast growth of the business. TJX Europe are 500 stores across 6 countries in Europe with future exciting expansion plans. This role will play a crucial part in supporting the growth within Europe. Based in our head office in Watford you will be responsible for all End User Services, working as part of a Global team, having direct management over a team of Technical Managers, Operations Manager, Senior Technical Analyst and Senior Support Analysts. The main responsibilities will include:


  • Involvement in prioritising and setting strategic direction for TJX Operations to ensure business objectives are met in the area of Incident Management and Request Fulfilment.
  • Develops, manages and controls budgets in order to provide cost effective services.
  • Accountability for the Operations of all IT in all European Stores, Processing Centres and Offices (including; servers, POS, telephony, music, desktops, laptops, data and voice networks, audio visual, time and attendance, printing, mobile devices and wireless connectivity).
  • Working in partnership with global and local Infrastructure, Production Support, and Helpdesk teams as well as Operations Initiative delivery to ensure agreed projects are delivered and new services transitioned into Operations in an effective manner.
  • Partnering with TJX procurement groups for the negotiation and purchasing of IT Operations Services.
  • Controlling corporate assets through the management of business plan budgets, purchases, acquisitions and maintenance accounts.



Desired Skills & Experience


To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience operating at a same level with a strong customer focus. You will have the ability to manage both technology and people, setting performance objectives for direct reports aligned with business strategy. You will have strong knowledge of ITIL.
