This is a newly created and important role in our busy and fast paced EU Media Team within the Brand & Marketing department based in our Head Office in Watford.

There will be the opportunity and flexibility required to work on a number of dotcom trading initiatives across our digital performance channels and with the wider Media team.

This role will be working with the Media Manager to support and execute the e-com performance marketing strategy for TJX Europe’s digital platforms.

It will require a good understanding of how effective e-com performance marketing strategies drive traffic and revenue to improve the commercial effectiveness and profitability of our e-com business.


Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing a structured e-com performance marketing plan.
  • Ensuring e-com performance marketing plans are communicated and understood across the business.
  • Monitoring weekly reports on e-com performance, marketing performance, identifying trends and developing ideas and strategies to improve commercial impact.
  • Assisting the development and delivery of the e-com performance marketing strategy for TJX’s trading websites.
  • Developing a structured test and learn plan for e-com performance marketing, measuring performance of these tests and providing recommendations to the Media Manager.
  • Delivering clear briefs, developing ideas and building strategies with our external media agency whilst also monitoring the agency’s output and performance.
  • Working closely with other media team colleagues in the collective effort to meet targets, drive performance and push innovation.
  • Developing brilliant working relationships across the business - particularly the online conversion, creative, campaign, PR and finance teams - to ensure that our e-com performance marketing plans are delivered effectively and on time.


Key Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • Experience of working in fast moving, highly commercial, digital environment.
  • Knowledge of one of the following areas will be required: SEO (Search Engine Optimisation), Affiliate Marketing and social media brand messaging. 
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of e-com performance marketing and its impact on driving commercial success.
  • Excellent analytical skills – experience with Google Analytics is advantageous.
  • Good time management skills with experience of delivering campaigns to short timescales.
  • Strong team player with experience of cross functional working relationships.
  • Eagerness to learn and stay up to date with digital innovation.
