Job Summary

This function includes the 1st and 2nd level support for all European TJX Processing Centres (Germany, UK and Poland) either remotely or locally.

This function includes all kinds of IT-services within all business areas split in a 2 shift pattern (morning shift 7-15 and late shift 14-22) changing on a weekly basis.

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • 1st and 2nd level Support for all systems and devices including but not limited to:
  • Workstations, Servers, Notebooks and Tablets
  • Office Printer, Ticket Printer, Label Printer
  • Telephony (including mobile telephony)
  • Network (DHCP, DNS ,VLAN, Wi-Fi technology)
  • Barcode scanning Devices (truck mounted/handheld)
  • Microsoft software (OS, office and server systems)
  • Active Directory
  • Administration and support of our in-house warehouse management system
  • Administration of the existing IT equipment with taking account to economical stock-holding
  • Support of other/different system problems on an agreed basis
  • Taking care of appropriate tools for the supply of an always up-to-date inventory register for the whole hardware of TJX Europe
  • Responsibility for the compliance of all licence regulations
  • Compliance of  IT related safety regulations and processes within the company
  • Participation in management meetings and team meetings to be always up-to-date and to deal directly with mentioned issues
  • Participation in current company projects which require your IT knowledge and your support. Solution-oriented work which guarantees delivering on time for all projects involved in
  • If needed and advised by your line manager, you are willed to do overtime and to be available on the weekends if needed, additionally night shift for Inventory
  • Provide and generate ad hoc reports for the business and the IT management
  • Being the first point of contact for any IT related issues within the TJXE Processing centres
  • Being a link between centralized IT in the UK/US and the local business on all IT related topics
  • Responsible for all P1 systems across the TJX Europe Processing Centres with escalating to the right parties and being responsible for updates to the business and TJX Level 3 support
  • Log incidents with IT Helpdesk through software applications or phone
  • Pass over system failures/issues to the responsible teams if necessary
  • Forward IT related incidents on P1 Systems if necessary to 3rd parties
  • Working on elaborating and implementing processes which improve work flows within the company
  • Managing and delivering Objectives on a yearly basis which are the main part for the measurement of your work

 

Skills / Experience 

  • Experience working in a distribution / supply chain environment
  • Strong Excel skills (i.e. VB)
  • Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) experience
  • Basic knowledge of AS400
  • Knowledge about Apple hardware and software fixes
