We’re currently looking for a Technical Engineer I - Supply Chain to join our team in our new Distribution Centre:

 

This role operates on a 2-week rotating shift 7:00 – 15:00 & 14:00 – 22:00 Monday - Friday.
It is important to note that this role is specifically focussed on the implementation and support of IT Technology used within the Supply Chain area and TJX Europe Processing Centres across Europe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing basic technology support activities including off-shift support. Performing routine technology engineering, administration and maintenance.
  • Working closely with global IT Teams to solve basic technical incidents and problems and escalate when appropriate.
  • Partnering with global IT Teams on routine technology solutions.
  • Contributing to decision making for support and technology solutions globally.
  • Performing on other duties as assigned.

 

About You:

  • Moderate knowledge of hardware and software technologies and best practices.
  • An ideal candidate would have experience within a Supply Chain environment including WMS Systems, RF & Mobile Technology, Printing & Barcode technology.
  • Basic knowledge (but not essential) in Desktop Support, Physical Server Support, Telephony, Network Technology, Server Room Racking and Data Cabling Standards, Asset management, Diagnostics and trouble shooting.
  • An understanding of IT Service Operations (ITIL) including Incident and Problem management would be good but not essential.
  • Ability to analyze possible solutions to basic issues using standard procedures.
  • Understanding of basic IT Service Management (ITSM) is preferred but not essential.
  • Commitment to strong customer service and accountability.
  • Ability and willingness to learn.
  • Very good communication skills written and verbal in English language.
