What you'll be doing:

• Oversees maintenance projects and operations for a 1.5 Million Sq. Ft. Distribution Center
• Coordinates in partnership with the maintenance management team across shifts to manage and prioritize long term and short term projects to satisfy production and building needs.
• Supervises the maintenance staff. Engage, develop, and motivate associates while ensuring morale is at a high level by conducting coaching conversations, setting performance goals, and by participating in reviews of performance.
• Collaborate with management, supervisors as well as internal and external partners to establish priorities to satisfy production needs.
• Develop strong communication and partnership within the department and across the operation to ensure a smooth transition from one shift to the next.
• Maintains efficiency and safety of all equipment. Monitors daily operations and directs action as required.
• Coordinates with local contractors and vendors for equipment and services as required.
• Orders parts and equipment and obtains services for repairs and maintenance for the facility

Skills and Experience Needed:

• College preferred or equivalent work experience
• 3-5 years of experience overseeing heavy mechanical equipment including but not limited to conveyor systems and industrial powered equipment
• Minimum of two years in a leadership role
• Must have general knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC systems, water systems, building repairs and facility maintenance
• Strong knowledge of building codes, trade standards and general practices within the maintenance field
• Strong communication, organizational, and negation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
