As the Associate Creative Director, Design for HomeGoods, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the creative vision and execution of all customer-facing content. You’ll drive innovative, high-level creative strategies that align with business goals, brand evolution, and consumer engagement—ensuring that every touchpoint resonates with impact and inspiration.

We need a strategic thinker with a passion for big ideas—someone who thrives in conceptualizing and leading bold, engaging campaigns that define and elevate our brand. This role requires a balance of visionary creativity and tactical execution, ensuring every design solution is both brand-enhancing and performance-driven.

 

  • Lead with Conceptual Thinking: Partner with Marketing leadership to develop big-picture creative strategies that shape the future of HomeGoods’ brand storytelling, ensuring cohesion across all customer touchpoints.
  • Develop Integrated, Multi-Channel Campaigns: Work across digital, print, and in-store channels to create compelling, high-quality marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, engagement, and transactions.
  • Champion Creativity & Innovation: Push boundaries in design and content strategy, finding fresh, inventive ways to communicate our brand narrative while ensuring alignment with consumer insights and business objectives.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Brand Marketing, Site, Traditional Media, Digital Marketing, and Analytics teams to deliver a unified and customer-centric creative experience.
  • Drive Art Direction & Visual Identity: Oversee the visual evolution of HomeGoods, refining and elevating our brand expression through innovative storytelling and forward-thinking design.
  • Oversee Content Production & Shoots: Direct monthly content photo shoots, ensuring every visual element reflects the right mix of trend, aesthetic, and brand storytelling.
  • Inspire & Mentor a High-Performing Creative Team: Build and develop a team of designers, providing mentorship, coaching, and encouragement to cultivate a culture of creative excellence.

 

Qualifications

 

  • BFA in Graphic Design or equivalent degree/professional experience
  • 7+ years of experience in design, with a strong background in conceptual thinking and brand storytelling
  • Strong leadership and team development skills with the ability to encourage and elevate creative talent
  • Design portfolio required – showcasing strategic, high-impact creative solutions (please make sure to include portfolio in application or on resume)
  • Expert in Photoshop and strong proficiency in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, AfterEffects, Premiere)
  • Deep understanding of digital-first creative strategies across site, mobile, email, social, and emerging platforms
  • Experience leading creative strategy in a fast-paced, multi-channel retail or brand environment
  • Excellent communication & organizational abilities with a passion for collaboration and innovation

This position is hybrid requiring 2 days per week in the office in Framingham, MA and is not open to remote work.

 

This position has a starting salary range of $90,200 to $115,200 per year.
Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
This position is eligible for an annual incentive.
