Major Areas of Responsibility

  • Responsible for the successful resolution of investigations related to losses incurred or crimes perpetrated in our TJX eCommerce & digital spaces.
  • Pursues investigative leads to initiate and conduct investigations to resolve fraud committed on TJX online platforms.
  • Develop trend reporting and analysis of online transactions, using business intelligence tools in conjunction with transactional data.
  • Independently investigate and resolve cases that require in depth analysis and work within a team unit to optimize success.
  • Effectively communicate with multiple TJX business units and vendors.
  • Summarize and document the investigative steps and evidence that support the decision reached in the investigation.
  • May perform other Corporate Investigations Team related tasks depending on the needs of the business, which can include internal theft and fraud, external theft and mitigating brand risk.
 

 

Minimum experience required to perform this job:

  • 3-5 years of combined experience in eCommerce, Data Analysis, experience with Fraud Detection Methods and Resolution and/or experience using internet searches.
  • Knowledge of commonly used eCommerce fraud prevention concepts, practices, procedures and fraud schemes.
  • Knowledge of law enforcement practices involving sophisticated digital investigations
  • Excellent communication skills; written and verbal.  Ability to write concise and factual investigative reports.
  • Skilled in data analytics, statistical reporting, research and critical thinking skills
