What you’ll do
The Corporate Solution Delivery organization leads the evolving software and systems at TJX for Finance, Human Resources, Collaboration, and Analytics.  We chase the big, strategic initiatives enabling TJX to make faster, smarter decisions every day.

 

As a Product Owner on the Enterprise Data & Analytics Global Merchandising Analytics team you will have a number of exciting responsibilities including (but not limited to):

  • Act as the liaison between the business and/or Agile Product Manager and the Scrum/Agile Team to define user Stories and prioritize and manage the Team Backlog.
  • Be a key participant in and lead Agile Ceremonies such as System Demos, Iteration Planning, Daily Scrum, Iteration Review, and Iteration Retrospective.
  • Become a Subject matter expert on the TJX Merchandising business operations and assists in the analysis of related business processes.
  • Collaborate with Product Manager and other Product Owners to define and coordinate feature development across other teams.
  • Works with Product Management as an extended team member on planning and backlog/Vision refinement.

Key Primary Skills

  • Previous experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst or similar knowledge of eliciting business requirements.
  • Established competency translating business needs into user stories that Teams can develop into finished deliverables.
  • Good communicator of ongoing risks, scope trade-offs, and timeline impacts to stakeholders to ensure alignment.
  • Ability to manage dependencies in and across sprints and releases.
  • Collaboration: Works effectively with others; establishing and maintaining good working relationships.

 

Secondary/Preferred (potential to upskill here)

  • Demonstrated knowledge of business analysis, project management, and product management concepts, along with an understanding of how enterprise software products are positioned and developed.
  • Experience within the Retail industry beneficial
  • Demonstrated experience using ALM tools, Jira and Confluence.
